The Yaskawa Smart Pendant is an innovative robot teach pendant with a large 10-inch touch screen and full safety features, offering a new exciting way of intuitive and simple robot programming.

The innovative Smartframe-Technology

In terms of jogging and teaching positions, the Smart Pendant has a revolutionary Smart Frame technology - based on a gyro sensor known from modern smartphones, the teach pendant detects the position of the programmer relative to the robot pose, and the manipulator follows the movement of the teach pendant. This relieves him from nagging calculations within the coordinate system (XYZ) and helps to reduce robot profgramming time down to a few minutes. The Smart Pendant also provides comfortable hand guiding support.

The tablet-based graphical user interface (GUI) guides the user enables for easy-to-understand entry of commands, parameters, functions and program sequences, everything supported by a context-sensitive help system.
